Understanding the importance of this space, we recognised the need for a significant upgrade to enhance both its functionality and its warmth.
We are thrilled to announce the completion of the much-anticipated revamp of our kitchen at Huis Janri! This exciting project was made possible through the generous donations from our community of supporters, to whom we are incredibly grateful.
Thanks to the generous contributions from several key donors, we have successfully transformed our kitchen into a state-of-the-art facility. The renovations include loads of cupboards and draws that will make meal preparation and serving easier and more efficient, as well as enhancement of the overall safety and usability of the space.
The new layout was designed with the help of Karen Wagenaar and Jannie Venter (experts in Kitchen Modifications), to ensure that it meets the functional needs and preferences of kitchen staff.
Moreover, the redesign includes ergonomic features that provide our kitchen staff with a more comfortable working environment, allowing them to continue making delicious, home-cooked meals with less strain and more joy.
